Job Description

Paraprofessional:

Reading Intervention Hawley Public Schools is looking for a Reading Intervention Paraprofessional to join our Middle School team for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works with students in grades 5-8, helping them build skills in reading and supporting our school in a positive, encouraging, and friendly manner.

Responsibilities:

Provide small-group and one-on-one literacy intervention, progress monitoring,and literacy screening, by following provided lesson plans and instructional routines Support students with organization, engagement, and positive learning behaviors. Supervise students during assigned times, including hallways, lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal. Work collaboratively with teachers, interventionists, and other school staff. Participate in required training and staff meetings. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Meets Minnesota paraprofessional requirements. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn

Salary:
