This full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year is an excellent opportunity to support students and educators in a dynamic learning environment. Play a vital role in the classroom and help foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Crisis Prevention Training completed or willingness to obtain prior to start Paraprofessional certification for MN or a minimum of 60 completed college credits Dedication to student success and enthusiasm for working with children of varied backgrounds and abilities Strong communication and collaborative skills Flexibility, patience, and reliability in managing daily classroom routines
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instruction, classroom management, and support for students with diverse needs Provide one-on-one and small group guidance for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of certified teachers Support students in crisis or challenging situations following established safety protocols Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and constructive school environment
