Job Description

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Rolling Hills Child Care Inver Grove Heights, MN Job Details Part-time $16 - $20 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Early childhood education Performing background checks Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Do you love babies and little kids? We could use your help. Rolling Hills Child Care is a large home daycare in Inver Grove Heights that gives kids the best of both worlds: the warmth of a family childcare home with the structure and curriculum of a center. Our classroom is mixed age, so a day here runs from bottles to ABCs.
What you would do:
help run daily activities, meals, and outdoor play. There is real learning happening here, we use Creative Curriculum, but it happens through play. And unlike a big center, you will know every kid and every family by name.
What we are looking for:
someone warm and reliable with good instincts. We would rather find a person who knows the right thing to do than hand them a rulebook. Experience or early childhood coursework is a plus, but we are happy to train the eager. You must be able to pass a background check.
The details:
$16 to $20 per hour depending on experience. Part time, about 15 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with lots of flexibility. Great fit for early childhood ed students, Inver Hills Community College is right up the road.
About us:
Owner Brandee Finwall has more than 30 years of teaching and childcare experience and built the kind of program kids brag about: big gardens, an onsite chicken coop, hiking trails out the back, fresh eggs, and plenty of mud when the day calls for it. We are pretty laid back and we hope that comes across. Come have some fun with us!
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
