Job Description

If you are looking to jump-start your career in child care, join Lakeville Area Schools as a Child Care Float Assistant/Paraprofessional for our programs! This position works directly with a supervisor to provide quality, engaging curriculum to Pre-K to elementary-aged students and students with disabilities. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills. Childcare experience is required.
Job responsibilities:
Assists Instructors in preparing and implementing daily curriculum, recreational activities and day-to-day onsite operations. Provide prep and clean up of projects, snacks and activities. Communicate any issues to the instructor/supervisor. Provide support to children with disabilities.
Pay and schedule:
Competitive pay between $18.68 - $22.46 per hour as an Assistant and $19.89 - $24.19 per hour as a Para, based off experience. Flexible hours between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm (guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week) Possibility to work before school, after school, or all-day program. Participate in field trips on non-school days.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age, High School diploma plus AA Degree or experience working with children in a childcare or school setting.
