Job Description
Job Summary Celebration Academy is a full-day, year-round school for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between 6 weeks and 5 years old. We help children reach their fullest potential in a safe, fun, and interactive school environment that fosters emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. We are looking to add to our team of teaching staff in our infant, toddler, and preschool communities! As an aide in our classrooms, you will be able to do the work that really matters... make a difference in the daily lives of children. Responsibilities Help implement curriculum Create a warm and caring classroom environment that supports each child's growth. Encourage and assist in positive social interactions. Help with light cleaning duties. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times. Display good time management skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate a positive attitude and team spirit Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, in case of emergency, a 40-pound child. Often required to sit or stand; reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, or crawl. Ability to go on walks and play with the children These positions are flexible with opportunities for Full-Time 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00 (35-40 hours/week), Part-time 7:00-2:00 or 1:00-6:00 Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood, preschool settings, or childcare. Familiarity with curriculum areas such as literacy education, basic math skills, and preschool activities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to support student success. Celebration Academy is hiring for our infant, toddler, & preschool classrooms. We are looking for a few staff to work Monday - Friday full-time and some part-time afternoon staff.
