$15.00-$20.00 per hour (DOE) Make a Difference Every Day Career Links is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students in a Setting IV Special Education Program . This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping students with significant disabilities and behavioral needs achieve success in the school environment. Students in a Setting IV program receive special education services for 100% of their school day and often require intensive academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and personal care support. Successful candidates will be patient, adaptable, and committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Position Responsibilities Provide direct support to students with significant disabilities and behavioral needs Assist teachers and special education staff with implementing student programming and behavior support plans Support students with academic, social, communication, and daily living skills Monitor student safety throughout the school day Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and community-based instruction as needed Collect and document student data as directed by the educational team Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support as required Important Position Requirement This position serves students with significant support needs. Toileting and personal care assistance are essential functions of the role, and all support staff must be willing and able to provide these services as needed. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following Minnesota Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements: Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Exam (Minnesota Para Educator Exam) OR Have completed at least 60 college credits and provide college transcripts for verification Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with students with disabilities Experience supporting students with behavioral challenges Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Dependable, flexible, and student-focused Ability to follow directions while also working independently when needed What We Offer Competitive pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour DOE Full-time schedule Meaningful work supporting students with diverse needs Collaborative school-based team environment Professional growth and training opportunities Career Links is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
