This position may assist one or more students in accomplishing activities of daily living and health related functions; provides redirection and intervention of behavior; and other tasks as are identified within assigned students' IEPs. May be assigned to work with students who have special health care/medical needs, have behavior intervention plans or require other forms of specialized care.
Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Teacher. 9:05 am - 4:20 pm Provides support to students through teacher directed activities in the classroom or community Provides assistance and support, as needed, to students in accomplishing activities of daily living Provides assistance and support for student's health and behavior related needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in a similar or like position Graduate of an associate's degree or higher in education, child development, human development, learning, behavioral management or a related area Paraprofessional Detailed Job Description 2024-2026 Paraprofessional Master Agreement
