Job Description
Mora Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paraprofessional. This full-time position involves supporting teachers and students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere and will work collaboratively with educators to enhance student success. Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs, including those with disabilities. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as necessary. Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. Assist with classroom management and supervision during activities, including recess and lunch. Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed by the teacher. Support students in developing social and emotional skills. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
