We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and help support our mission in the classroom. Job Summary We are seeking a part-time One on One Student Aide who genuinely enjoys working with young children and thrives in a supportive educational environment. In this role, you will work closely with the lead teacher to ensure a safe, engaging, and structured classroom for the student.
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
20 hours per week
  • follows the academic school calendar
  • late August to late May
  • unpaid time off during standard school breaks.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday (7:45 am-12:15 pm).
Pay Range:
$15.00

00 per hour based on experience and education. Sick and Safe Leave Paid Family Medical Leave Key Responsibilities Assist the student in being safe in the environment Keep a watchful eye on the student to avoid falls, especially when unsteady. Assist as needed in moving around the classroom, building, and on the playground Provide rest breaks outside the classroom as needed to avoid fatigue Assist student in learning to ask for help when needed. There may be times that the student's inability to perform tasks or activities at the same level as his peers becomes frustrating to him. This may involve helping him find an alternative activity or using coping skills to process the disappointment. Assist student with lunch as needed Getting seated by or at table, opening milk, cleaning space after eating, etc. Prepare student for transitions through the use of reminders and other cues. Restroom assistance as needed Cleaning up and helping with clothing Assist student with academics as directed by the teacher.
