We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and passionate Teacher Aide to join our team year round. The position works 15-25 hours Monday thru Friday, from approximately 2:30-5:30pm, with earlier hours and subbing added frequently. Occasional evening/weekend hours are scheduled for family engagement events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Christian Faith to support the Christian teachings of the school and be willing to continue learning upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities:

Actively supervise children being mindful of health and safety at all times Build warm relationships with children and families Communicate openly with the Lead Teacher, Director, and all other staff. Relate creatively and individually to children Respond promptly to the physical and emotional needs of the children and assist with classroom and behavior management using positive guidance strategies Complete daily cleaning tasks such as washing/sanitizing toys, tables, and chairs, and cleaning/disinfecting classroom bathroom Demonstrate and teach proper respect for individuals and proper care of equipment and materials. Utilize opportunities for professional growth either online or in person. Participate in staff meetings and meetings with the Director and Lead Teacher.
