Temporary, (contract position) Position Overview We are seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals to support elementary school students in a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Both positions are full-time and will primarily work with 4th-grade students , providing academic, behavioral, and classroom support as needed. One of the positions may include a 1:1 student support assignment for approximately half of the school day , with the remainder of the day focused on supporting students and classroom activities. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group support to elementary students Assist students with classroom assignments, activities, and instructional materials Support the classroom teacher with daily routines and student needs Provide behavioral and social-emotional support as appropriate For the 1:1 assignment, provide dedicated support and supervision to an individual student for part of the school day Encourage positive classroom behavior and student engagement Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote student success Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred Paraprofessional experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, dependable, and adaptable Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team High school diploma or equivalent required Why This Opportunity?
