Job Responsibilities:
Provides academic and social/emotional support in a 2nd grade classroom by working with small groups and individual students under the supervision of the lead teacher.
Job Qualifications:
Experience working with elementary students. Evidence of strong math and reading skills. Evidence of strong skills in supporting students struggling with anxiety and school avoidance Strong crisis and conflict management skills Demonstrated ability to take initiative. Clear communication in speaking and writing. Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Evidence of willingness to participate in staff development. Demonstrated ability to follow through on a project. Demonstrated strong organizational skills, punctuality, and efficiency.
