You'll work closely with teachers and school staff, providing support to students in classroom and small group settings. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a related educational support capacity Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students Familiarity with school protocols and the ability to quickly adapt to changing day-to-day needs Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, teachers, and parents High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary coursework in education or child development is a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with instructional activities, classroom management, and individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce lessons and encourage participation Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions throughout the school day Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing students' unique academic or behavioral needs Help track student progress and report observations to the teaching staff for further action Experience the fulfillment that comes from helping students grow and reach their potential in a collaborative school setting.
