Join a team dedicated to academic excellence, student success, and building strong character in every child. Gasconade County R-1 School District is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional. Position Summary As a Paraprofessional, you will play an important role in supporting student learning and success. Responsibilities include working one-on-one and in small groups with students to meet individual learning needs, providing instructional and tutoring support as needed, and assisting teachers in creating a positive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include: Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally. Providing instructional and tutoring services to eligible students. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and paperwork. Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, building principal, or supervising teacher to support student achievement. The ideal candidate is student-centered, adaptable, dependable, and enjoys working collaboratively with staff to help students succeed. Qualifications High school diploma required. Sixty (60) college credit hours preferred, or the ability to obtain Missouri Paraprofessional Certification. Why Join GCR-1? Collaborative and supportive team environment.
