@CAPNEMO.ORG Early Head Start Teacher Aide- Kirksville Early Head Start Teacher Aide-Kirksville This is a full-time/full-year position An Early Head Start Teacher Aide supports the lead teacher in maintaining a classroom environment that is nurturing, consistent, stable, and supportive of establishing close relationships with the infants and toddlers in care and their parents. The infant/toddler aide assists the EHS teacher in developing appropriate plans and individualized learning experiences for infants and toddlers in care. Works to fully involve families in the program. Follows all Missouri Childcare Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards and meets all Head Start record-keeping and reporting requirements.

Employee Experience :

High school diploma or GED required. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening, provide proof of a yearly physical exam and TB risk assessment, and participate in all required training. As a mandated reporter, you must report any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the Missouri Child Abuse & Neglect hotline, following Missouri Law and current Agency procedures. Must maintain a valid Class "F" driver's license, have reliable transportation, and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements. Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.
