Key Qualifications:

Valid Substitute Certificate listed as active on the DESE website Experience in classroom support, with a willingness to work with toileting, changing, and behavior management Prior exposure to K-12 settings and comfort adjusting to different grade levels and roles Open to providing support as needs arise, either in a floating or assigned capacity Reliable, adaptable, and ready to contribute positively to school communities

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering academic and behavioral support to students Work effectively with students who have varying physical and emotional support requirements Provide care including toileting and hygiene tasks as needed Support instruction and classroom organization in both general and SPED classrooms Communicate and collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
