Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Come join our Head Start family! Help the Head Start Teacher provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children ages 3-5 years of age. The Teacher Aide helps plan, organize, and implement the operational and physical aspects of a Head Start classroom, including setting up the classroom and developing lesson plans to implement the educational program. Requirements Two-Three months working with children in a childcare or preschool setting. Must obtain the Child Development Associate credential within 2 years of employment.
