The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized instruction. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, as well as the ability to implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities:
Provide physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students. Assist with daycare activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all children. Educate children on various subjects, including basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Incorporate Christian Faith Based methods into daily activities Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Partnering with parents to discuss the goals and needs of the children in their classroom Utilizing Playground App to communicate with parents and outline their child's day in a timely fashion based on our requirements Preparing snacks and meals for the children in your care Keeping up with all cleaning and organization duties Parent-Teacher meetings twice per year Following the daily schedule as provided and instructed by your director Work closely with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans and daily activities that align with the children's developmental needs. Assist in managing transitions throughout the day, ensuring children move smoothly between activities, meals, and nap times. Provide hands-on support during learning activities, playtime, and group discussions. Support a warm, home-like environment that fosters comfort, security, and engagement for young children. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment within a home-based daycare setting. Assist in daily parent communication, including providing updates through the Playground App and sharing key moments from the child's day.
  • Engage in child-led and teacher-directed activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Encourage independence and problem-solving skills through structured play and guided learning experiences.
  • Ability to follow and reinforce lesson plans while also offering creative input when needed.
  • Proactive in identifying classroom needs and assisting in resolving challenges with a team-oriented mindset.
Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in implementing lesson planning and curriculum development. Familiarity with physical education practices suitable for young children. Experience in daycare or childcare setting (a minimum of 2-3 years) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a supportive environment. Strong working knowledge of childcare regulations and legal guidelines
Positive Energy and Bubbly Personality Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
