Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our students in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting with classroom management, lesson implementation, and individualized support for students. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students. Engage with students during activities to promote learning and development through play and structured tasks. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing behavior management strategies as directed by the lead teacher. Supervise students during breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and any concerns. Support individual students in their daily routines, including assistance with personal care when necessary (e.g., infant care, toddler care). Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childhood development and education. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is beneficial. Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered an asset.
