Key Responsibilities Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children can learn through exploration and play. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Foster school readiness and kindergarten readiness. Build positive partnerships with families. Observe progress and individualize instruction. Collaborate with your teaching team to meet Head Start Performance Standards.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Bachelor's or advanced degree in another field with equivalent ECE coursework and preschool teaching experience. We're also looking for: A passion for helping young children learn and thrive. Strong communication and teamwork. Knowledge of child development. Positive relationships with children and families. Knowledge of Head Start standards or willingness to learn. Basic computer skills.
