Our preschool is a warm, play-based, 100% Spanish immersion environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and grow through everyday moments. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who truly enjoys being with young children—not someone who simply supervises them. Our ideal teammate isn't afraid to get down on the floor to build towers, sing silly songs during clean-up, read stories with enthusiasm, comfort a child through big emotions, or start an impromptu dance party when the class needs a reset. We want someone who sees transition times as opportunities for learning, who can jump into a song, movement game, or quick activity to keep children engaged, and who understands that connection is one of the most powerful teaching tools. Because we are a 100% Spanish immersion preschool , we're looking for someone who is comfortable speaking Spanish with the children throughout the school day. You don't have to be perfect—we're looking for someone who is committed to using Spanish consistently and helping our students thrive in an immersive language environment. We aren't looking for someone to simply watch children—we're looking for someone who wants to become one of their favorite teachers. Responsibilities As an Assistant Teacher, you'll be involved in every part of our day, including: Building meaningful relationships with children Supporting play-based learning and classroom activities Supporting and leading during circle time in rotation Singing songs, reading books, playing games, and leading activities throughout the day Helping children navigate big emotions with patience, empathy, and respect Changing diapers and assisting with potty training Preparing and serving meals and snacks Washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing toys, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom Working as a team to create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: Warm, energetic, and dependable Comfortable speaking Spanish with children throughout the day Excited to actively participate in play and learning Patient, nurturing, and confident helping children through big emotions A team player with a positive attitude Reliable, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed Able to lift, bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and stay active throughout the day Requirements Selected candidates must be willing to: Pass a background check Complete all required Montana childcare licensing paperwork Obtain Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification (or complete it upon hire) Complete all required Montana childcare training Experience in early childhood education is preferred, but a genuine love for working with children, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are just as important.
