What You Bring:
Prior experience as a school-based paraprofessional or teaching assistant preferred Knowledge of special education practices and an understanding of students' varied learning needs Ability to nurture, motivate, and inspire trust in children Patience, reliability, and a collaborative spirit Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and staff Flexibility and adaptability to handle varying classroom dynamics
Your Role:
Provide individualized support to students as a 1:1 Paraprofessional or as an EC Teaching Assistant Assist with instructional activities and reinforce lessons presented by teachers Support students' physical, emotional, and social development in the classroom and throughout the school day Assist with classroom management, organization, and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment Help with activities of daily living and facilitate communication between students and staff when needed Provide progress feedback and help document student achievements and challenges This opportunity is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays—offering focus and consistency during the week, making it ideal for individuals seeking a specialized schedule.
