Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners at our Newton Grove Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a state-approved training program for early childhood education.
Experience working with young children in a classroom settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staffEnrollment in an associate/bachelors degree program or enrolled in CDA credential or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related fieldPre-School Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalencyExperience working with diverse populations of children and familiesBilingual in English and Spanish.Responsibilities:
