Job Description

Exceptional Children (EC) Instructional Assistant - First Flight High School First Flight High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Exceptional Children (EC) Instructional Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs in a secondary school setting. The EC Instructional Assistant works collaboratively with EC teachers and general education staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support that promotes student success and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of EC teachers Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support across content areas Support students in developing organizational, academic, and life skills Assist with behavior management and reinforce positive interventions Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
