Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a difference in the educational journey of students by supporting their success in a dynamic school environment. This contract paraprofessional position is ideal for individuals with a passion for working alongside educators to assist students, especially in a virtual support setting. You will play a key role in providing vital assistance to both staff and students during a maternity leave period, working with a dedicated virtual Speech-Language Pathologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or completion of at least 60 credit hours. Experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting. Familiarity with supporting online or virtual learning platforms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of students and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with a virtual SLP to support students requiring speech and language services. Assist in supervising and guiding students throughout their learning activities. Provide instructional and clerical support as needed. Support students in accessing technology and resources for remote instruction. Communicate effectively with the educational team to ensure student needs are met.
Position Details:
Full-time contract, starting as soon as possible. Assignment runs through November 11th, 2026, to cover a maternity leave. Work schedule aligned with school hours, offering stability and consistency.
