Responsibilities:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
• Use positive behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
• Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

Skills:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes learning and development in areas such as math, language, and social skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Ability to adapt lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of each child
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
