Job Description
LPN / RN
- Corrections Nursing (Full Time) Nash County Detention Center | Nashville, NC Hiring day and night shift, 3/12s per week rotating weekends Good Nursing Is Good Nursing — No Matter Where It Happens.
- What You'll Do Working under the supervision of a physician and senior RN, you'll be a consistent, trusted presence for patients who often have limited access to healthcare outside these walls.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
- Chronic care management, sick call, and urgent care services
- On-site treatment and proper emergency response protocols
- Clear, accurate progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient workups
- Assisting in the development of ongoing patient treatment plans
- Patient education on preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
- Serving as a knowledgeable resource for correctional staff on medical requirements and restrictions

- Who You Are You hold a current LPN, LVN, or RN license in North Carolina and you bring more than just clinical competence to the job.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current LPN, LVN, or RN licensure in North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Correctional or detention facility experience preferred, not required

$34.00- $36.00/hour, commensurate with experience
