Job Description Overview Assists in the operation of the classrooms according to State and local governing agencies, Center policies, NCRLAP (ITERS/ECERS) guidelines. Responsibilities Assists in the creation and development of a developmentally appropriate curriculum for the classroom using Creative Curriculum & NC Foundations for Early Education. Assists in the planning and preparation of the learning environment to meet cognitive, physical, emotional & social needs of the individual child. Provides services with consideration of the recipient's needs. Assists in the operation of the classrooms according to State and local governing agencies, Center policies, NCRLAP (ITERS/ECERS) guidelines. Uses positive guidance techniques. Supervises classroom in the absence of Lead Teacher Provides professional, accurate and timely communications to parents. Qualifications NC Early Childhood Credentials preferred with a minimum of 1 year classroom management experience. Willingness to obtain the NCECC with in the first year of employment may be considered.
