Job Description

PAY Afterschool Program is looking to grow our team as we enter into the 2026-2027 School Year! Do you have a passion to see students excel academically and personally? PAY would like to off you an opportunity to work with our team. We are offering positions for the following: Lead Teacher Assistant Teacher Lead Teacher - Lead teachers run and oversee the direction of the classroom and provide direct instruction to students. Lead Teachers are required to lesson plan weekly in order to provide curriculum aligned instruction to students.
  • B.S. Degree in Education
  • 4 (+) years of experience teaching students
  • Creating & implementing lesson plans
  • Track & Monitor student progress
  • Daily tutorial & academic instruction
  • Schedule & Hold weekly team meetings
  • Oversee & supervise classroom
  • Oversee classroom staff
  • Must be able to communicate with students & parents Assistant Teacher - Assistant Teachers provide both academic and enrichment support for Lead Teachers. If your Lead Teacher is absent, the Assistant Teacher will be expected to lead the class during that time. They assist in the overall day-to- day operation of the classroom.
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Classroom and student experience is preferred for this position
  • Reinforce lesson plans
  • Enforce classroom rules
  • Daily tutorial and assistance with instructional/homework time
  • Provide oversight and supervision to students
  • Self-supervised
  • Must be able to follow instructions and provide direct support to the Lead Teacher
  • The required hours for each position is 2:30pm - 6:30pm; Monday - Thursday ONLY
  • Some weekends may be required.

Part-time Pay:
