Monitor children during playtime, meals, naps, and other routines to ensure their safety and well-being. Collaborate with team members to document developmental progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about each child's growth. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare settings. Experience in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement. Proficiency in lesson planning for literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development suited for young learners. Familiarity with working with children with special needs, including those with autism or disabilities, using appropriate behavior management strategies. Hands-on experience in daycare or preschool environments, including private school settings or Montessori programs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
