Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Instructional Assistant Apprentice to join our dynamic educational team. This paid apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting classroom instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for young children. As an Instructional Assistant Apprentice, you will work closely with lead teachers and specialists to implement engaging lesson plans, support students' developmental needs, and contribute to a nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to develop their skills in a supportive setting. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and development Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education and care Qualifications Passion for working with children and a strong interest in early childhood education or related fields Basic knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt activities to meet individual student needs Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm Join us as an Instructional Assistant Apprentice and embark on a rewarding journey of professional growth while making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives!
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
