About us Ardmore United Methodist Through the Week School (TTWS) is a vibrant weekday ministry of Ardmore UMC. We are a half-day program (9:00-12:00) with optional Lunch Bunch until 1:00. With over fifty years of outreach ministry, we continue to show families the love of Jesus and the hospitality of Ardmore UMC. We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our team in our 2 year old classand help support our lead teacher in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, be patient and understanding, and have a passion for helping children learn and grow. The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for providing support to the lead teacher, assisting with lesson plans, and helping to create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and activities. Supervise students. Provide guidance to children in social and emotional matters. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences. Assist with the preparation of instructional materials.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 or older Must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
NC Credentials/EDU 119 Experience working with children Early Childhood Education degree or coursework
CPR/First Aid Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
