Come join our team at HOPEful Beginnings! We're a Christ-centered preschool and childcare program in Grand Forks, ND. We're currently looking for a full-time Lead Teacher in our Toddler Department.
Duties include:
Understanding and supportive of HOPEful Beginnings' mission statement, focusing on coming alongside families as a team to help strengthen their children physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Full-time work within a toddler classroom, providing for the basic needs of toddler-age children. Instruct and supervise children in social and developmental activities and provide one-on-one attention when needed. He or she must organize the classroom and plan intellectual activities for children. Lesson planning and preparation for designated group of children using center approved curriculum theories and ND Early Learning Guidelines. Understanding and implementation of individual behavior plans as outlined by professional staff and consultants. Team-oriented person, with a positive attitude and willingness to get along with others in actions and words. Understanding of and ability to follow through with ND State Licensing requirements relating to health/safety, discipline, supervision, food/nutrition, etc. Shared classroom duties, such as cleaning/sanitizing of classroom and toys, prepping classroom materials, diapering/changing children when needed, etc. Completion of state required training within 3 months of hire and additional yearly training, at the cost of the center. Other responsibilities as assigned.
