In this role, you will assist our lead PreK teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Responsibilities Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social/emotional skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, rest periods, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong relationships. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing regulations. Skills Proven experience working with young children in classroom settings or childcare environments. Knowledge of classroom behavior management techniques a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrative staff. First aid and CPR certification required. Can be certified after hire. Excellent organizational skills.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
