ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Paraprofessional to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. In this on-site role, you will assist in classrooms and 1:1 settings, implementing behavior and education plans, reinforcing skills, and helping manage behaviors using evidence-based strategies. You will collect data, support de-escalation, and collaborate closely with teachers and clinicians in a compassionate, mission-driven environment focused on student growth. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with behavioral and learning challenges. Implement behavior intervention and education plans under supervision of clinicians and teachers. Collect and record behavior and academic data accurately and on schedule. Support classroom management, routines, and positive behavior strategies. Assist with de-escalation and use approved crisis-prevention techniques when needed. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student goals. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Protect student confidentiality and follow all organizational and regulatory policies. Participate in required training, coaching, and team meetings. Support student transitions, daily living, and social skills as appropriate.
