Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students. This role is essential in promoting literacy education, math skills, and overall student engagement. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Support students in literacy education and math through one-on-one or small group instruction. Manage classroom activities to ensure a productive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students to encourage their participation and understanding of the material. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting conducive to learning. Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to address the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support. Utilize Montessori methods or daycare experience to enhance student learning experiences. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs and achievements. Qualifications Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Strong skills in literacy education and math are essential for supporting student learning. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere. Ability to educate and engage students effectively through various teaching methods. Experience with lesson planning is a plus, particularly in alignment with curriculum goals. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, and staff members. Knowledge of Montessori principles or daycare practices is beneficial but not required. A background in special education is desirable for supporting diverse learners.
