P01729 Qualifications Required High school diploma with at least one year of related experience. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be comfortable working with a diverse student population. Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as a genuine interest in adult learners. Proficiency using Excel and Word is also required. General Summary Individual will assist with the operation of the Adult Education program in Lexington. Duties include data entry using Excel spreadsheets, registering new English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Educational Development (GED) students, maintaining class rosters and accurate student records, answering phones, proctoring assessments, monitoring student progress, and assisting teachers as needed. Must be a detail oriented self-starter with advanced organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting quickly to change. Position will be 10 hours each week, generally morning hours.
