SCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT

•SEN SUPPORT | LN6 Do you have the patience, compassion and dedication to help a child reach their potential? Simply Education is working with a welcoming school in the LN6 area of Lincoln who are looking for a committed Full-Time Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just a classroom job. You'll become an important part of a child's school experience

•helping them feel supported, included, confident and ready to learn. About the Role As the Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide consistent, individualised support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing dedicated support to a pupil with SEN. Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child. Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom. Encouraging participation and independence. Helping the pupil access classroom activities and learning opportunities. Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour. Adapting your approach according to the individual needs of the pupil. Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team. Encouraging social interaction and inclusion. Helping celebrate progress, both big and small. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Patient, calm and compassionate. Confident building positive relationships with children. Understanding of the needs of pupils with SEN. Reliable and consistent. Able to work effectively as part of a school team. Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning. Prepared to learn and develop their SEN knowledge. Previous SEN experience is highly desirable, but it isn't essential if you can demonstrate the right attitude, patience and commitment to supporting children. Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Care Worker or similar would be valuable. Why Work With Simply Education?
