Depending on the school and individual needs of the pupils, you may support children with: Autism / ASC ADHD Social, emotional and mental health needs Speech and language difficulties Moderate or complex learning difficulties Physical or sensory needs Behavioural and emotional needs Your day could involve: Providing one-to-one or small-group support Helping pupils access their learning Encouraging independence and confidence Supporting communication and social development Helping manage behaviour positively Working closely with teachers and SENCOs Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment Who are we looking for? We'd love to hear from: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Teaching Assistants looking to specialise in SEN Graduates with an interest in education, psychology, childcare or support work Candidates with care or support-worker experience Candidates with experience working with children or young people People with personal or professional experience of additional needs Patient, resilient and compassionate individuals who genuinely want to make a difference Previous SEN experience is desirable, but it's not always essential.
