Job Description

Make a difference supporting students as a valued paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment near Dover, NH! We are seeking five dedicated team members for a contract opportunity beginning as soon as possible and lasting through June 2027. Positions include a mix of 1:1 student support and classroom-based roles across both middle and high school settings. Your completed references (including your most recent manager) and a current resume are needed upfront to move forward. No additional certifications, college degrees, or specialized training are required-simply proof of a high school diploma. Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued. What will set you up for success: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working or volunteering with school-age children preferred Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with students Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to pass required background checks Three completed professional references, including your most recent supervisor What you'll do: Provide 1:1 and small group support as assigned for students with diverse needs Assist educators with classroom management and instructional activities Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other non-classroom times Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under teacher direction Participate actively in daily school routines This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully in an educational setting, working weekday shifts (32.5 hours per week) that align with regular school schedules.
