Background in educational settings, especially as a paraprofessional, is highly valued Ability to provide individualized attention and support to students with a variety of needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families Adaptability and patience in working with children in both structured and flexible situations Commitment to promoting a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Support specific students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) or learning programs Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement instructional strategies and modifications Assist with classroom activities to foster an inclusive educational setting Encourage student engagement, independence, and positive behaviors throughout the school day Monitor progress and provide feedback to the educational team, contributing to student success
