Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Support students in an educational environment with an opportunity to work as a paraprofessional in a school setting near Dover, NH. This contract position offers both 1:1 and classroom-based responsibilities, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere in middle and high schools. Multiple positions are currently open, so you can enrich your experience while making a meaningful impact.
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in school settings is valued Ability to maintain a supportive and patient demeanor with students High school diploma or equivalent required—no additional paraprofessional certifications or higher education necessary Strong communication abilities and dedication to student success Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team Ability to provide three professional references, including your most recent manager, before interviewing
Your Responsibilities:
Offer direct support to students, either through one-on-one assistance or in a classroom group setting Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities Foster a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for all students Adapt support strategies to meet both individual student needs and classroom objectives Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Communicate routinely with educators and staff to discuss student progress and classroom dynamics
