Teachers Aide - Dover, New Hampshire

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Support student learning and classroom management in an elementary school setting located in Dover, NH. This opportunity is for four paraprofessionals to assist in a Title 1 elementary school from now through June 15, 2026.

Location:

Dover, NH Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week (full-time equivalent)

School Hours:

Student arrival from 8:05 to 8:20 a.m.; dismissal at 3:05 p.m.

Contract:

Temporary through June 15, 2026

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree OR equivalent college credits OR state-recognized para 2 certification Ability to provide three professional references, including two supervisors Prior experience supporting elementary school students preferred

Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities Assist students with learning tasks and reinforce educational concepts Monitor student behavior and provide a positive, safe learning environment Collaborate with teaching staff and support personnel to meet student needs Participate in school-wide programs as needed, adhering to Title 1 requirements
