We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional (PARA) to support students in a school-based setting in North Haverhill, NH . The Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and students to provide academic, behavioral, and classroom support. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students as assigned. Assist students with academic and classroom activities. Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs. Follow Individualized Education Program (IEP) accommodations and support plans. Assist teachers with classroom activities and student supervision. Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school administration. Document student progress and communicate relevant observations to the appropriate staff. Qualifications Previous experience working with children or students preferred. School, special education, behavioral, childcare, or related experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills. Must be able to successfully complete required background checks and school onboarding requirements.
