Job Description

Who We Are Windy Hill School, Colby-Sawyer College's Early Childhood Lab School is a living, breathing laboratory for learning — for the children in our care, the college students studying alongside them, and the educators who guide them all. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the wonder of the natural world, we believe children are capable, curious, and full of ideas worth listening to. We are seeking an extraordinary individual — someone who brings both organizational brilliance and a warm, child-centered heart — to serve as our Administrative Assistant, Registrar, and Team Teacher. This is a unique, multi-faceted role for a person who thrives in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment. The Role This position sits at the beautiful intersection of administration and education. You will be the connective tissue of our school community — keeping operations running with grace and precision while also stepping into the classroom as a thoughtful support teacher, and as team teacher in our 9 week summer program. No two days look exactly alike, and that is the magic of it. Key Responsibilities Administrative Leadership

  • Build authentic, trusting relationships with children through unhurried presence and genuine curiosity about their ideas
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and prepare materials that invite exploration and provocation
