We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated paraprofessional to work closely with high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, Monday through Friday contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the chance to make a positive difference in students lives every day. As a vital member of the school community, youll collaborate with teachers and staff to provide assistance and encouragement to students, helping them meet their academic and personal goals. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Experience working with high school students or in an educational support setting preferred Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs A collaborative approach and positive, proactive attitude High school diploma or equivalent required
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students within classroom and small group settings Assist lead teachers with instructional tasks, classroom management, and student engagement Support individualized learning plans and accommodations as directed Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff Contribute to a positive school culture through daily interactions and teamwork This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable experience while making a real difference each day.
