This full-time contract runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working directly with high school students in an engaging educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional, ideally in a school setting Ability to build strong, respectful relationships with students and fellow staff Flexibility and adaptability to support a range of classroom and individual student needs Solid organizational and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in education support is a plus
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class and one-on-one support to high school students under teacher direction Assist in implementing lesson plans and reinforcing individualized educational programs Foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere Support students with academic assignments, social-emotional learning, and classroom engagement Help monitor and document student progress, offering feedback to lead teachers Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school protocols This role spans 32 to 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, aligning with the school calendar.
