Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Are you passionate about supporting student success and looking for a rewarding opportunity in an educational setting? An excellent contract position is available for skilled paraprofessionals to work closely with students in both one-on-one and classroom environments at a welcoming district near Rochester, NH. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on the daily lives of middle and high school students, with the support and structure of a collaborative school community.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma required; no additional certifications necessary Previous experience in a school setting preferred Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings with students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependability and a positive, encouraging attitude Commitment to fulfilling the full contract through June 16, 2027 Ability to provide three professional references, including your most recent manager, before interviewing
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a supportive classroom environment Assist with academic tasks under the supervision of certified teaching staff Offer individualized support for assigned students as needed Reinforce lessons and help with classroom routines and transitions Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement educational plans Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day
Benefits and Schedule:
This role provides consistent weekday hours (32.5 per week), following either Middle School (7:10 am-2:10 pm) or High School (7:30 am-2:30 pm) schedules, with a 30-minute lunch.
