Stark Village School is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team in a dual role as a Secretary / Paraprofessional.

As part of our school family, you will be an essential member of a collaborative, close-knit team working together to foster a supportive learning environment for some of our communities' youngest. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our school running smoothly while directly supporting our students, staff, and families every day.

Job Summary & Core Duties:

As the heart of our main office and a valued classroom support team member, your primary responsibilities will include:

Administrative & Financial Management:

Handling daily student attendance tracking, preparing state reporting, managing purchasing and ordering, and maintaining meticulous, highly organized records.

Student & Classroom Support:

Assisting teachers with small-group and individual student support, fostering a positive learning environment, and connecting warmly with local families.

Adaptability & Learning:

Demonstrating daily flexibility by transitioning between office tasks and student support, while maintaining a strong willingness to learn new systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

We are looking for team players who bring a genuine drive to work with kids and families, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to learning new tools and software. A strong commitment to upholding student privacy and protecting confidential family information is essential. Prior experience in an office or educational setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are paramount.
