Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract A school district in Tilton, NH is seeking an experienced paraprofessional to support elementary students. This role focuses on providing one-on-one assistance and classroom support, with an emphasis on behavioral experience to effectively manage and assist students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support elementary students in academic and behavioral activities under the guidance of classroom teachers. Implement and reinforce classroom routines and behavioral interventions. Assist with individualized instruction and provide encouragement to promote student engagement and success. Monitor student behavior and collaborate with teachers to create positive learning environments. Help prepare instructional materials and maintain organized learning spaces. Communicate regularly with teaching staff to address student needs and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working as a paraprofessional, preferably in elementary education. Demonstrated skills in managing student behavior and implementing behavioral support strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and educators. Ability to work 35 hours per week and commit to a school-based contract assignment. Patience, flexibility, and dedication to fostering student development.
